Land based machines - self propelled units
The Self-Propelled Conver mowing and raking series was developed specifically to be able to mow and clear ditches and embankments from very narrow toe paths without leaving tracks. This series of machines consists of two groups: The C1, C5 and C10 three-wheeled machines and the C60 Track carrier units.
The characteristic build of the three-wheelers allow for the machine frame to provide space for the rubber mounted cabin, the engine and the main wheels, with the support mast for the (third) support wheel and equipment masts. Cover self-propelled units are equipped with wide all-terrain tyres in order to keep pressure on the surface to a minimum.
Drive-Computer technology is used in the Conver three-wheelers, which can be set to transport or working mode. A computer controlled limited slip valve distributes the flow of oil between the main wheels in order to prevent wheel slip.
The third (support) wheel is only driven in the working mode. Special hydraulic measures have been taken whilst the machine is easier to operate and requires less effort from the operator.
The C60 track-propelled units were specifically developed for conditions where a compact mowing and raking unit with low ground pressure is required. The 375 mm wide rubber track system features this stable equipment carrier.
The machines can be supplied with 1, 2 or 3 tools masts, with a wide selection of standard mast lengths and tools.
