Nature. We treat our natural environment with the utmost care and with good reason. Yet human intervention is unavoidable; to protect ourselves from floods, to ensure good land drainage or in the interest of safety along the roadside.

The organizations responsible for managing and maintaining our countryside and infrastructure are engaged in a constant search for the right balance: between society demands with regard to safety and environment in the one hand and socio-economic interests in the other.

Conver® has made the solution to this dilemma to its cornerstone of its operations. It began over 50 years ago in the polder landscape between two of the Netherlands main rivers. An area where the competing interests of a safe living environment, a flourishing natural environment and herewith associated costs and revenues need constant consideration.

The combination of this background with a wealth of experience and craftsmanship has enabled Conver® to develop its solution: machine of the highest quality for the maintenance of waterways and lakes, banks and verges.

With an eye for the environment and technical ingenuity Conver® has been able to develop a versatile range of equipment, from weed-cutting and collecting boats, weed harvesters, dredging boats and amphibians, to machines for attachment to tractors and similar implement carriers.

The conver® solution has struck on a chord in a great many countries and Conver® engineers are therefore used to dealing with all kinds of local demands and special circumstances. What is more, these variables are always taken into full consideration during each design process. Flexible design and production methods also allow new machines to be adapted to suit specific requirements.

However good a machine may be, its performance depends on the person at the controls. The best results can only be achieved by means of an ideal adjustment between machine and operator. At Conver® this adjustment comes with each deal.
