New generation weed boats in production

News published: 23-06-2008

The current range of mowing boats C380, C430 and C480 have been in production for 13 years already. And since 1995 developments have not been standing still. To the contrary, there has been a continuous improvement and optimalisation of the machines.

Not only you as our customer, but also the increasing amount health and safety- and environment protection regulations have played an important role in this development.

This increase of regulations has been experienced throughout Europe; however demands differ per EU-member. Of course the aim is for the same goal: Safer and more comfortable operation for both man and nature.

Furthermore, a greater demand for Conver machines and the typically seasonal character of the demand has increased the need of an even further standardisation of the designs. An interesting challenge; To improve an already excellent product, complying with a great number of international rules, without impeding flexibility and efficiency of the product.

We have taken on this challenge in a professional step-by-step approach. For the first time in the Conver history a study model was revealed during the 2006 ADA show in England. Over the winter period of 2006-2007 this study model was developed to a working demonstration machine and thoroughly tested internationally during the 2007 cutting season. With the gathered experience the new C485H was conceived; An entirely new designed weed cutting boat.

Compared the current generation mowing boats, the new Conver C485Ha is more efficient, more silent and easier to operate and maintain and feature i.e. a single front mounted jib arm with quick hitch tool carrier for T-cutter, push frame and embankment cutter; a closed aluminium deck; two watertight bulkheads; a centrally located lifting eye and a completely newly arranged operators cabin with servo controls.

On the moment of this publication, the first C485H’s will have been delivered. You will be able to find more details on this website soon. Of course, You’re welcome to contact us beforehand.
