Conver takes first step in Brazil

Aquaplant is a relatively new company focusing on the removal of aquatic vegetation in lakes, ponds and other waterbodies. The Brazilian favorable climate and nutrient rich water has caused undesirable weed infestation in many lakes. Augusto Bronhara, a driven entrepreneur and founder of Aquaplant saw potential in this problem and invested in first instance in an American-made weed harvester. It soon became clear that this machine was not suitable for the heavy vegetation and Mr. Bronhara started looking for something better. Finally he found the right tool in the C96 Waterdozer.
The C96 is essentially an oversized mowing boat, with the same features as the standard Cover mowing boats, available with weed rake, side cutterbar and trailing knives, but then especially suitable for arduous use in tropical conditions.
The Waterdozer proved itself quickly. Aquaplant has already placed an order for the second one, to be delivered in April 2011.
