Conver C625H

The Conver C625H spearheads the amphibious machine product group, and as such was developed specially for dredging work under wet conditions that prevent access by normal excavators.

When it is floating, the machine is driven by double hydraulic anti-coiling augers. When there is not enough water to float in and on land, the C625H can propel itself on its 375 mm-wide rubber tracks. Depending on the ground, the machine can move on a slope of up to 30° (temporarily; maximum 15° continuous).

The control compartment is spacious, similar to the C581H, with several adjustable controls and a comfortable chair with arm rests. The low-pressure servo controls ensure easy operation is combined with operational safety. With the joysticks integrated in the arm the primary functions are controlled. The secondary equipment functions are controlled by separate servo levers.

The functions of the machine all work hydraulically. Load-sensing technology is used in the pump and valves for the hydraulic system, to ensure that the engine power is used as efficiently as possible. The system is powered by an air-cooled 4-cylinder Deutz diesel engine of 72 kW (98 hp).

The machine features a two-piece digging boom with quick release connector, allowing an assortment of tools to be connected. The hydraulics of the amphibious vehicle are prepared for mounting a hydraulic dredge pump with hydraulic cutter head. The three-point linkage at the front with a lifting capacity of 1.500 kg is a standard part of the machine. A dredging push blade is optionally available.

The C625H can be supplied with a hydraulic winch with a capacity of 3.600 kg for working with a push blade or to help it drive out on to difficult slopes.

Conver has developed a special range of amphibian vehicles to be able to perform maintenance under the most extreme circumstances at nearly any location, irrespective of whether you are dealing with too little water for a boat, or too much water for a tractor or excavator. There are three types available, depending on the application and the scope of the activities.

In water the robust and reliable Conver anti-coiling auger(s) provide sufficient propulsion and manoeuvrability even under the worst conditions.

On land the machines can keep moving through a hydraulic drive system, executed with or without rubber track system.

Versatility is a keyword for Conver amphibians. These machines were developed as equipment carriers and because of the wide range of equipment and tools that are available standard Cover Amphibians can be used for many purposes.
